A fire blanket is manufactured by us using fiberglass fabric of either 0.4 mm or 0.8 mm thickness or by using silicone coated fiberglass of 1.0 mm thickness or using vermiculite coated ceramic fabric of 3.2 mm thickness or for heavy duty welding using the expensive High Silica fabric of 1.2 mm thickness.
